Unity Project - Or Is It?

There is something new afoot in the vc community at large. They want to hide it in the shadows but due to the nature of it it needs to be shined a light on. Not because it’s good but because it’s evil and disastrous. It is a so called unity project. However it is anything but.

The unity project is a collection of various folks across the USA who decided they can do it better, without you. They go into local communities and then outsiders nominate them to be king of a local region without consenting any of the locals or even caring about them. This happened in Colorado where someone was named “Monarch” and everyone was shocked to even know about it in the local communities.

It is now again happening in NOLA. Here is the release from NOLA on the situation:

OFFICIAL NEW ORLEANS VAMPIRE ASSOCIATION STATEMENT:

The New Orleans Vampire Association is a “round table” compromised of House Elders in our local community. Any Elder of a House is welcome to petition for a seat on the Council. However, our city is not ruled by any singular individual nor does it participate or condone any monarchy. We consider such actions as those of role-players or attempts to dominate a long standing democratic community. Attempts by outsiders to declare any individual a “ruler”, whether local born or not, of our city will be dismissed as a grasp for power and attention. Such actions will be ignored, at best.

This may have happened in other places but as you can make your own judgement on how they operate and what it means. Operating without consulting local bodies or vampires or even caring about if they want a monarch or not in their area. If you happen to find a new “king” or “queen” named in your state or local community without anyones input I would highly suggest telling them to go fuck themselves. They try to hurt local communities reputations as well as saying they are “inactive” when they are anything but.

When they act without contacting or engaging or discussing with locals and are called out on it they run their mouths and talk behind the backs of said locals. This is a warning and something to look for and watch out. In addition to telling them to go fuck themselves giving the community a notice or warning it is going on would also be wise and helpful to everyone.

It sounds more like Todd/Rpg crap than actual vampire stuff in the end.
