In this piece that takes a harsh and realistic look at the current vc and otherkin communities we are simply going to get right into it.

You do not need to tell us you are not using a brand of soap anymore. No one cares in the end. No one. Just stop using it and show your happiness by example my god.

IF every time you speak you throw a fit and run away because someone said you were wrong…That literally accomplishes nothing.

If you think live action vampire roleplaying is real…you are most likely not one.

If you think you were a queen in a past life but know nothing about that place, period or anything…you need to stop bullshitting.

If you think attacking folks who do not kiss your ass brings unity…you are a fucking douche-bag.

In the first year post Mert..the vc has devolved even worse than it has ever been. Circular arguments, ignorance of words, Larping, echo chambers… I mean the vc was by no means amazing while Mert was here but holy shit. You all devolved faster than I could even imagine.

No learning, no good conversations, nothing but drama and its all circular to boot.

So what does one do with all this going on? Good question. I do not currently have an answer either. But I can tell you a few things. Unity will never be achieved by one person or group…as it is not unity. Where the vc goes is up to the people in it. All of them. Not just a few. Role-playing is what the current community is based around. Answers and growth will not happen with folks doing what they did this year.
